MISSING THE GROUND

By February 6, 2017 Safety Blog

This morning, as every week starts, Mark gathers the staff for a weekly safety talk.  This week, it was about electricity, particularly, the ground.

Staff were reminded to always inspect power tools before using them.  If there are signs of damage or wear, these must be repaired properly before work takes place.  With that said, Mark told staff they are not to attempt fixing anything electrical unless hey are trained and qualified to do so.

He stressed that alterations are never to be made to an electrical cord or tool.  Example, never remove the ground to accommodate a two-prong plug or extension cord.
