Monday, May 29th, Mark discussed the risk of heart disease during our weekly Safety Talk. Some of the common factors that contribute to heart disease are:
- Smoking
- Obesity
- High Blood Pressure
- Sedentary Lifestyle
- Diabetes
To bring awareness and help combat heart disease, we will be providing a free blood pressure check on Tuesday for our staff.

On Tuesday, we offered a blood pressure clinic for the staff so everybody was able to get checked and keep themselves in check. Sometimes knowing where you are is the first step if you needed to make some changes. And can be a relief when people find out that they are in good shape.
