On Friday, January 27th, 2017 we recognized our previous achievement of two years safe, marked January 18th of this year with a steak dinner and a commemorative gift for the staff.
Late morning brought the BBQs around to the back door as Iris, Gary & Heather started cooking steaks. In the kitchen, Terri and Daniel were making sure there were veggies to go with that steak…and sour cream for the potatoes, of course!
Along with a hearty lunch, the staff were recognized by WorkSafe NB for the efforts being put into our safety program. Lisa Waugh from WorkSafe NB was present to commend the staff during lunch that day.
Since this even also coincides with our 50th Anniversary celebrations, the staff were all given a commemorative watch with the anniversary dated on the face and an engraving on the back stating the safety achievement.
